Testing a new instrument at the SNAP Diffractometer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (December 2012).

I’m a recent Ph.D. graduate conducting fundamental research on the synthesis and characterization of novel materials at the University of Texas at Austin working with Dr. John B. Goodenough and Dr. Jianshi Zhou. You can read about some my research group at the Materials Interdisciplinary Research Team website.

Currently, I’m searching for a Boston-based research position studying magnetics, magnetic/spintronic devices, and/or alternative energy. When I’m not in the lab you’ll probably find me on a run, a bike ride, or cooking a tasty meal with my wife, Hillary.
